Just like the Harry Potter Books, this Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle LEGO set is for the young and the young at heart alike. Harry Potter enthusiasts, no matter what age, absolutely love this very detailed LEGO set; even parents of Harry Potter Fans are impressed on how detailed this set is. Also, instructions are very easy to understand that school age children will have a lot of fun building this on their own, with their time spent on enjoying the toy rather than trying to discern instructions.

Of all 39 reviews, 32 gave it 5 stars and 6 gave it 4 stars; unfortunately, one wasn’t as impressed and gave it an average review of 3 stars.

Reviews on amazon were written by kids and adults alike, and they all fell in love not only with the amazing details but also the fun pieces like the Quibbler that you could read using the magnifying glass that came with the package along with.

This is the biggest Harry Potter out in the market; and for its details, moving parts, easy instructions and bargain price, any Harry Potter and/or fanatic will go gaga over this set.

Only concern about this set is Ronald Weasley missing from the repertoire. Some fans were a bit disappointed that he has gone amiss but they say it’s not much of a damper since the set itself is so fabulous, and most of them already have Ron from another HP LEGO set.

Some are concerned about its durability as younger children tend to throw it about, but then one should be aware that this set is recommended for school age children 8 years old and up. This set contains small pieces and hence not suitable for young kids. Also kids who could read the instructions and create the castle for themselves would enjoy this more. The fun is in the building process.

Only one critique was truly disappointed because of the shallow depth of the castle. But other than that, this LEGO set is truly a must have.
